Bray Lions Club

Charity Work

St. Cronan's BNS has always had a very close link with Bray Lions Club. In 2005, to express their gratitude for the help that the boys in St. Cronan's have given to many of the Lions Club's projects, the club sponsored the GAA kit for the school. Bay Lions Club repeated this gesture in 2016, sponsoring the school's brand new GAA kit.

Over the last number years, the boys in St. Cronan's, and especially in Mr. O Broin's class have taken part in a wide variety of projects organised by the Lions Club. Some of these projects have included The International Peace Poster Competition, Drug Awareness Art Competition, School Books for Liberia, Tsunami Victims Clothing Appeal, The Clean Sweep of Bray Spring Clean and Spectacle Recycling for Africa to name but a few.

A number of the boys from our class have also marched in the St. Patrick's Day Parade with the Lions Club for the last number of years. Below are some of the boys from St. Cronan's marching with Bray Lions Club.
